Site

Site. Sounds familiar name, but I never knew before until my boyfriend told me and sent to the place where every boys most likely are looking for a way to work there.  I never thought that I will live in the place where people spend their time working like a horse, six to six, even more than eight hours every day in two months without weekend holiday or public holiday, but they get a day off for two weeks. 

Site. Sometimes it’s sounds scary until I signed the contract to work on a giant mining contractor's site far away from my beloved family, friends, boyfriend  and most of all from my beloved ‘never sleep city’ Jakarta. I know site is not every girl’s favorite place, but I decided to wake up from my comfort zone, to broaden my horizon and to expand my experiences. 

So here I am. Leaving my daily activities in Jakarta to a rural place. No mal. No fancy resto. No entertainment facilities like Jakarta but here I push myself to live my dream fullest. Because I know here I can build up my dream. My dream to work with many people. not behind the cubicle, the computer every single minute. 

I’m gonna miss everything during my 7-2 roster. Yeah, I’m happy with the roster system by the way. At least with two weeks off I can fully spend my day to pursue my dream, traveling around the world hahaha.

Anyway, I still feel awkward to work only with simple shirt and jeans, and oh ‘not-so-my style’ sneakers. I used to dress up with beautiful blouse, skirts, and also super fabulous high heels in my previous office. However, yeah there’s always something to sacrifice in our life, rite. 

Alrite then. I’ll tell you how does my camp and office look like, given the opinion from many people that camp and office in mining area are terrible. We’ll see then.
